Movember
Newton, 27 Weeks Old
Last Friday Newton had to go to the vet to get neutered.
He was very scared, but he was very brave and he did a great job!
Now he has to wear a cone on his head. It is very difficult for him because he runs into things a lot and gets stuck. His first day with the cone, Newton tried to climb the stairs and his cone got stuck and he couldn't move. Also, since he doesn't have a snout, he has a lot of trouble eating and sometimes his food gets stuck on/in his cone. And sometimes he cries because he can't reach his food, so someone has to hold his plate still. It is all very sad, but he is doing an excellent job and the vet is very happy with the way that his stitches are healing.
Only about a week left before Newton can take his cone off and go play in the park. Yay!!

Day 193
Day 193
It's a little bit late, but I thought I would share photos from my first Thanksgiving in New Zealand.
My contribution to the meal was dessert... I made a cranberry cake, an apple crumble coffee cake and a chocolate pecan pie. Woo!
Food
Jonti's first Thanksgiving
Paul managed to find turkey at the 'Aussie Butcher', so we made a full on Thanksgiving feast!
Gobble gobble!
